Unmasking global energy dynamics: solidarity and struggle

The energy transition under capital is not a just transition. Workers need international unity, not a green contract market.
The world is being told to leave fossil fuel for renewable plant. Developed countries keep their own emissions and sell the technology. Transnational firms enclose the minerals, the patents and the grids of the South.
Organised jobs in coal, oil and gas are cut. Renewable work arrives as contract and gig, often built to keep the union out. A “just transition” that leaves class power untouched is a slogan for the balance-sheet.
WFTU and the Trade Union International (Energy) are the international ground of this federation. Transparency on emissions and supply chains, community control of resources, retraining as a right, cooperation instead of benchmark wars — these are working-class demands, not CSR.
Electricity employees in India stand with energy workers everywhere. Public power at home and public power in the world are the same fight.
