Note — conferences, Himachal, nuclear units, Jharkhand

Annexure to Circular 02/2025. New ground in states without an affiliate. Nuclear production chain. District mobilisation in Himachal.

During the CITU General Council, the President, the General Secretary, Comrade Swadesh Dev Roye and Comrade Subhash Lamba met the CITU General Secretaries of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Gujarat. Those states were to open a first contact with EEFI Centre by August 2025.

DVC Shramik Union held its conference at Bankura on 11–12 May 2025; the General Secretary of EEFI was present. MSU Punjab met on 24–25 May. AP UEEU at Guntur on 14–15 June; Comrade S. Rajendran from the Centre. COTEE at Cuddalore, 8–10 August. KSEB OA in Kerala, 22–24 August.

Himachal Pradesh: electricity employees, pensioners and consumers have been bringing thousands onto the district grounds. That mobilisation is the measure of the campaign.

The federation now has units and contacts across the nuclear production chain — NPCIL in Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra; Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad; Heavy Water Plant, Manuguru. A leadership sitting of those units was planned in Delhi.

A thermal generation unit in Jharkhand has begun the affiliation papers. The Uttar Pradesh and NTPL Tuticorin struggles of that season are already on this site.
