NCCOEEE met on 9 June 2025 at B.T.R. Bhawan. Comrade Mohan Sharma presided. EEFI issued this circular the same day so every constituent would carry the decisions in the states.
The sitting stood with the Uttar Pradesh power employees. The longer account of that struggle is already on this site. The new line from this meeting: a nationwide lunch-hour demonstration at every sub-station, office and plant on 2 July 2025; a joint convention of power employees, farmers and other consumers with the Samyukt Kisan Morcha on 22 June 2025 at Lucknow.
If the UP department floats the privatisation tender, strike action across the country follows at once.
Private prepaid smart metering is treated as another privatisation move. Constituents are to campaign against it as one.
