Brigade Parade Ground: ten lakh of Bengal’s working people, then the factory gate

Ten lakh workers, peasants, agricultural workers and other toiling people of Bengal assembled at the Brigade Parade Ground on 20 April 2025. That is the Bengal of struggle and of the basic classes.

The gathering was the answer to dark days. It was also the call to the next date: the general strike of 20 May. From the Brigade to the factory gate, every unit is to prepare that strike.

Electricity employees stand in that column — with coal, petroleum, factory and field. Public power is part of the same social transformation the Brigade named that day.
